Heather N. Quinn is the pen name of the mother and daughter writing team Heather and Quinn.
My Country Cousins grew out of their shared love of lighthearted fiction and family life.
I was born in Scotland, but I grew up on a hobby farm in Ontario, Canada. I lived on the Wirral Pennisula in England, in a village near the city of Chester, from 1990 to 1998, and that's why Gemma Merriman comes from Chester.
Quinn and I have always been good friends, as well as mother and daughter. We love writing together, and coming up with the My Country Cousins stories is a lot of fun!
We hope you'll enjoy reading our books, and that they'll make you laugh and feel good. That's what My Country Cousins is all about!
I was born in Canada. I lived in Ottawa until I was two years old. Then my parents and I moved to England.
By the time we returned to Canada, I was ten years old and thoroughly English. It took me a little while to get used to Canada, so I understand Gemma's feelings. Like Gemma, I found it such a relief when kids were friendly and kind.
The My Country Cousins series is about having fun and growing with each new adventure. Enjoy it! And remember the Merriman's motto: If you can't behave, be funny!
